PARTICIPATING IN PROFESSIONAL WORLD SPORTS IS GOOD FOR A COUNTRY

It is important for a country to participate in professional world sports. Participating in professional world sports give advantages for the country. Some benefits when participating in professional world sports include; unite the society, increasing income for the country and as the national pride.

First of all, participating in professional world sports can unite the society. The country which participate in world sports competition will have a unite supporter and those supporter is come from their own society. In the football world cup, the society will be standing, yelling, crying and laughing together to support their football national team. They throw out all of the race, tribe and political differences. They just have one purpose to support their national team. For instance, when Iraq participating in Asia Football Cup which is held in Jakarta, most of the people in Iraq stop their conflict and stand together to support their national team.

Secondly, participating in professional world sports can increase the national income. Every country which is act as the host of world sport competition such as football world cup will get the economic advantages. The national income of that country will increase from many resources such as the media license. Media in the world will compete each other to broadcast this professional football game. The license to broadcast this game is another benefit for country who act as the host of a football world cup competition. All media like ESPN, CNN and other major Sports channel will try their best to get the updated the viewer on newest status of their favorite team. As the results, national income increasing by the football world cup competition broadcasting royalty. Moreover, the other resources are visas of foreign player, taxes for the match, and merchandises selling.

Lastly, participating in professional world sports as a national pride. Become a respectable country in a particular sports will be a national pride for the country. Some of the country in the world such as Spain and Brazil considered as a respectable country in the world because of the football sport. Spain football national team is the best football team on the world based on FIFA ranks which is issue on January 2011 while Brazil is 5 times football world champions. Those things make the others country give a respect to Spain and Brazil. In the other words participating in football which is one of the professional world sports is a national pride for Spain, Brazil and the other country in the world.

To sum up, it is important for a country to participate in professional world sports.  

Participating in professional world sports brings so many advantages for country. Those advantages such as united the society, increase the national income and as a national pride.
